Welcome to our Children’s Ministry Area!
We are so blessed and honored to have your children in our care.
Every Teacher, Assistant and Nursery Worker has been screened and trained to give the care and love to each of your children that is needed.
Age appropriate classes are provided for each Sunday and Wednesday Service.
Sundays
2 years through K are involved in a fun-filled discovery of God as they study and learn more about God’s Word and His Creation.
1st Grade through 4th Grades are involved in a Truth-filled video series published by Creative Pastors ( www.creativepastors.com & look under Elevate Children’s) This video series teaches our children how to apply Biblical concepts to their everyday lives. Also, a PARENT letter/family devotions goes home “EVERY” week. Ask your child or teacher for it. Ideas are given below of how to review it with your child:
- Have your child look up the Bible reference and read it aloud for the whole family.
- Ask them what they understand it to say.
- Then, as a family, apply God’s Word to your life. (Example: baking bread and taking it to a new neighbor, giving a blanket or food to a homeless person, etc.)
The BEST Teachers are YOU, the child’s Parents. Please invest the time to spend with your child in God’s Word.
5th & 6th Grades are putting down strong roots in God’s Word as they study Romans, Acts, James, and other New Testament Books. Weekly devotions go home each week for their personal study in the Bible.
Wednesdays
Pre-K thru 6th Grades worship with their parents, then go to class.
2 years through K are learning about how they are God’s Children, how He takes care of them, and what their response should be: to be kind, friendly, loving and obedient.
1st-2nd Grades are learning what the foundations of their Christian faith are: Who is God and What is His Plan. Suggestions are given to the children of how to apply God’s Truths to their lives today.
3rd-6th Grades are studying Christian Character Qualities. Through these lessons they will learn how to Grow in Grace and Walk in the Spirit. These classes are gender specific: 3rd and 4th grade girls, 3rd and 4th grade boys, 5th & 6th grade girls and 5th & 6th grade boys. There is a large emphasis on character building in each of these classes.
