What God wants every kid to know . . . E-mail

Before the sun rose last Sunday, as I spent time with the Lord, I felt as though He wanted me to go in to every classroom and give them a very important message from Him.

This doesn't usually happen to me.  And as I began writing down the message impressed on my heart; I knew it was very important to God.  I believe this is for all of God's kids, young and old.

I told every child that a "very special" guest was joining us this morning.  I pointed to a chair set out just for Him.  I told them that Jesus is ALWAYS with us.  And that He loves them and that He made them just the way they are.  He made them special!

Some are tall, some short, some with blue eyes and others with brown.  We talked about how God made some of the "fast", and others were great at throwing a ball.  Where some, like me, may throw the ball a bit crazy.  Some of them are great artists or musicians.

We talked about how God cares about EVERYTHING  that is going on in our lives (when we are sad, lonely, angry, hurt, happy) and wants to help us.  I asked them if they knew he was always with them and reminded them that they can talk to Him anytime.  Nothing is impossible for JESUS!

I prayed over them and asked God to bless each of them and their families.  What precious children we have in our Church.

With the world pounding down on our kids, telling them they are worthless and not wanted, I was so blessed to have the privilege of bringing the good news of Jesus' love to them.  Reminding them that God made them "SPECIAL".
