Every Teacher, Assistant and Nursery Worker have been screened and trained to give the care and love to each of your children that is needed.
Age appropriate classes are provided for each Sunday and Wednesday Service. Stop by and check them out!
SUNDAYS TEACHINGS:
2 years through K are involved in a fun-filled discovery of God as they study as they learn more about God's Word and His creation.
1st Grade through 4th Grades Reaching this generation with the truths of God’s Word through a video series published by Creative Pastors. This is a video series that teaches through animation and graphics how to apply Bible concepts and stories to their everyday lives. The children will learn how to put into action the things they learn from reading their Bibles, how to be ready to help others, to treat others the way God wants- with compassion and kindness, to respect authority, show mercy and to use the gifts God has given them to help others. Check it out at www.creativepastors.com and look under Elevate Children’s. A PARENT letter/devotion goes home “EVERY” week. Ask your child or teacher for it. Ideas are given below of how to review it with your child: (Great for family devotions).
- Have your child look up the Bible reference and read it aloud for the whole family.
- Ask them what they understand it to say.
- Then, as a family, apply God’s Word to your life. (Example: baking bread and taking it to a new neighbor, giving a blanket or food to a homeless person, etc.)
The BEST Teachers are YOU, the child’s Parents. Please invest the time to spend with your child in God’s Word.
5th & 6th Grades are putting down strong roots in God's Word as they study Romans, Acts and James. Weekly devotions go home each week for their personal study in the Bible. They are challenged to "live out" what they have learned.
WEDNESDAYS TEACHINGS :
Pre-K thru 6th Grades worship with their parents, then go to class.
2 year olds - Kindergarten are learing about the ways God takes care of them and that they are HIS children, and what their response should be: to be kind, friendly, loving and obedient. Bringing the truths of God's Word to life.
1st-2nd Grades are learning what the foundations of their Christian faith are: Who is God and What is His Plan. Suggestions are given to the children of how to apply God's truths to their lives today.
3rd-6th Grades are studying Christian Character Qualities. Through these lessons they will learn how to walk the walk. These classes are gender specific: 3rd and 4th grade girls, 3rd and 4th grade boys, 5th & 6th grade girls and 5th & 6th grade boys. There is a large emphasis on character building in each of these classes.
