We are so blessed and honored to have your children in our care.
Every Teacher, Assistant and Nursery Worker have been screened and trained to give the care and love to each of your children that is needed.
Age appropriate classes are provided for each Sunday and Wednesday Service. Stop by and check them out!
SUNDAYS TEACHINGS:
2 years through K are involved in a fun-filled discovery of God as they study Scripture looking into the attributes of Jesus, and learning how to Grow,Share & Obey God's Word. 1st Grade through 6th Grades Reaching this generation with the truths of God’s Word through a video series published by Creative Pastors. This is a video series that teaches through animation and graphics how to apply Bible concepts and stories to their everyday lives. In August, we began an 8 week series of how to live EXTREME lives for God. The children will learn how to put into action the things they learn from reading their Bibles, how to be ready to help others, to treat others the way God wants- with compassion and kindness, to respect authority, show mercy and to use the gifts God has given them to help others. Check it out at www.creativepastors.com and look under Elevate Children’s. A PARENT letter goes home “EVERY” week. Ask your child or teacher for it. Ideas of how to review it with your child:
- Have your child look up the Bible reference and read it aloud for the whole family.
- Ask them what they understand it to say.
- Then, as a family, apply God’s Word to your life. (Example: baking bread and taking it to a new neighbor, giving a blanket or food to a homeless person, etc.)
The BEST Teachers are YOU, the child’s Parents. Please invest the time to spend with your child in God’s Word.
WEDNESDAYS TEACHINGS :
Pre-K thru 6th Grades worship with their parents, then go to class.
2 year olds - Kindergarten will revisit their "Attributes of Jesus" Sunday studies, using puppets and flannel boards to bring the truths of God's Word to life.
1st-2nd Grades are studying God's Word as they look at the Shunammite's Son, Elisha and Joash. Suggestions are given to the children of how to apply God's truths to their lives today.
3rd-6th Grades are studying the Fruit of the Spirit. In August, they will study "Fruit for Ourselves": Self Control, Joy & Peace. Then in September they will study "Fruit of the Others": Faithfulness, Gentleness & Patience. Through these lessons they will learn how to walk the walk. These classes are gender specific: 3rd and 4th grade girls, 3rd and 4th grade boys, 5th & 6th grade girls and 5th & 6th grade boys. There is a large emphasis on character building in each of these classes.
