Observing this generation of Christian young adults (18-22), that have been "raised" in the Church by believing parents,  my heart was saddened with what I saw.

At this time, this season of their lives, where their love for Jesus has no bounds.  Where the passion they have for the Word of God and the calling that He has put on each of their lives can now be lived out.  But instead, many stop attending church and seek the things of this world.

Through much prayer and research, I believe that the "main" ingredient that is missing is the involvement of the parents in the discipling of their own children.  The Church is made up of many adults that did not come out of a home where their parent's sought the Lord, and they do not know where to begin.

We began our "Faith In The Family" series earlier this year, in hopes of equipping Dads and Moms with the tools needed to be confident in discipling their own children.  So far, the classes have not been well attended.  We will persevere, knowing that God's heart is to minister to and train up His children.
