You will notice that we don't really have much of a NAME for our youth ministry. We've tried many different names over the years, but nothing seems to work.

Why don't you COMMENT some name ideas for me? We can come up with something together!

Remember a few key ideas about our youth group as you brainstorm...

  • We value...

(1) going deep into God's word

(2) knowing Christ

(3) genuine worship

(4) bringing Jesus to our peers

  • We meet at a place called "The Shack" - like a beach shack.
  • We spend time each week opening up with each other for prayer and counsel - seeking to be true friends together in Christ.
  • We love missions trips and camps especially.
  • We want to glorify Jesus in all we do and we want to be real and honest together before Him.

So with all of this in mind, what do you think we should call this ministry? Please comment your ideas and respond to one another.

I cant help but have the name "Eagles" or "Eagles Nest" coming to mind. This is in reference to Psalm 103:5. The entire Psalm 103 talks about Childhood and growing up in the Lord. This is what I understood. I think it is beautiful.
One other name that I have thought of is "New Wine" or "Zion" in reference to Joel 3:17-18.

What was the old name? maybe u can call it "Fact Checkers Unit" FCU searchin the scriptures and applying it to their lives! No, that won't work. I give up. oh i know! "TimeFrame!" some dude said that to me and i thought it sounded like a cool cheesey eighties band name... but it works good for the youth group.

Changes To Our Site

Welcome to our new COMMUNITY website area. We have a number of BLOGS ("must read") from various ministry leaders. Please check them regularly to see what is going on in the minds and lives of our church leaders. You may leave COMMENTS on various articles and we pray that this interaction will let "iron sharpen iron" as we edify each other.

Logging in is only needed for ministry leaders writing content. We no longer have general user accounts.
